It’s simple - choose your material grade then specify the plate size required and a billing mass will result or, specify the plate size and mass and the number of plates will result.

Theoretical Mass for Long Products

This app calculates the theoretical weights and units for long products, such as bar and tubes, and is based on a mean density of 8. 040kg/cubic metre.

This app has been designed for everyone including planners, buyers, specifiers, on-site engineers and contractors.
